Is it the gun or the ammo?

a little while ago i bought a 9mm high point. i only wanted it to go to the range and just have fun.9mm is really cheap so thats another reason i bought it. i read good and bad reviews about it. i bought silver bear 9mm luger (9*19mm)zinc plated case bullets. they were really cheap and i bought them in bulk. so is it the gun or the ammo im a really good shot so it has to be one of these
