hi all, my daughter is 4 months and 3 weeks her pedi suggested that i feed her rice cereal. before i started her on the cereal she drinks about 24 oz a of formula a day, but now that she eats about 8 TBS of rice cereal daily she reduced her her formula to 18 oz...is that ok? it says on the can that it has iron and zinc and some minerals but am not sure if it gives her the same nutrition that the formula does.

Question about Orochimaru?

I know sasuke "killed" him and he was sealed away forever during sasukes fight with his brother itachi but i was thinking will he possibly come back through Kabuto. I also have been theorizing that that version of orochimaru could have been fake and it was really some freaky clone he grew in one of his laboratories through one of his genetic experiments that he was known to conduct all the time and the real him could be in hiding, or maybe that madara really is orochimaru in disguise because i saw the recent episode online when zetsu came out of floor behind madara while he was putting that cloke on and his right arm appeared whiter than the rest of his body along with having black fingernails. Maybe he faked his death by that whole genetic clone trick and is in fact madara at the same time. Of coarse that would have to mean that his immortality jutsu is not flawed like everyone thought but is in fact unknown to everyone else flawless. I know everything I theoried but the one him taking over kabuto is highly unlikely but wouldn't that be so sweet. I mean i can't believe that sasuke could succeed where jiraiya and tsunade both failed along with god knows how many other shinobi throughout the years not to mention his own sensei the third hokage also failed and who knows you better that your own sensei for god sakes! Sasuke might be an uchiha but he was still only a freaking child with only a few yrs of experience under his belt I MEAN COME ON!!! How can i clear my teen acne?

I have been suffering for really bad acne for 3 years starting as mild and working its way up. I am currently using benzoyl peroxide on and off and i have extremely dry, red skin and very itchy since using the BP. Although the last few days i have drank a lot of milk with cereal which may cause my skin to break out, but i dont think im allergic to milk, i always drank it before i got acne and my skin was fine? I have an appointment at the dermatologist in around a month, will they clear my acne? what will they use? are they allowed to give me a laser acne trreatment or am i too young (im 16). also i have used various antibiotics, BP, roll-on face stuff, recently taken zinc and vitamin C supplements?

How come in Naruto they call each other by their first names?

So in the Japanese culture they always address people by their last names when their not close. but in Naruto they immediately call them by their first names? at first i thought it was just the dubbed version but when i watch the sub i always hear their first names. Help with basic front roll?

Hello I've recently started attending a ju jutsu class and on my second day our Sensei had a more experienced student teach me rolling. I understand I'm supposed to keep one knee down and my weight primarily on the knee that's up. I tuck my arm beneath my body and my chin against my chest. Then push forward with my bent knee.... but I usually hurt my shoulder or my knee will smack on the ground and then my the roll becomes stupid and I end up rolling with my side. I make sure my foot and knee are pointing forward too in an effort to not go sideways but it happens anyways. What frustrates me is that after the first day doing such a basic thing I can't get it down. It's been two days since then and I've been recording myself to see what the problem is but I don't get it.

Hi all, my gf has a clotting condition in which she needs to take anticoagulant medication daily by injection, similar to a diabetic injecting insulin. The problem is she hates needles and sticking herself daily sucks, so most of the time I have to do it for her. But I am going to be leaving town for a couple of weeks on business and she is going to have to do the daily injections herself and she hates it. My question is is there a product out now that makes it easier to correctly inject yourself? I have seen some tube-like needle holders and protection jackets for diabetic syringes, but since the meds already come in a pre-loaded syringe with a square plastic plunger lock surrounding it to ensure it can only be used once, I don;t think that will work. I was hoping for something similar in function to a caulking gun for a syringe, where you insert the syringe as a cartridge, it lines up on your skin via a pre-shaped guard already built in and all you have to do is squeeze the handle to inject yourself. Is there anything like that?

I have heard that uptill his death Kyokushin fights used the self defense techniques he used, so why now have his 'loyal followers' introduced kickboxing and thai boxing techniques in Kyokushin? Why do I get so cold sometimes?

Sometimes I get cold for no apparent reason. Doctor says my iron levels are very good, and I don't use any drugs that would make me feel cold =P lol but sometimes I just feel freezing. I hate soccer moms already because of how annoying they are but they're even worse when they get their kids involved with martial arts. OMG THEY'RE ANNOYING!! Of course I'm not implying that any mom who has kids in martial arts is a soccer mom, I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. I'll give you some examples of what I've experienced. So I just moved to a new city and the lady across the street has her kids taking Karate classes. I went with them one night to observe the class and check out the dojo. It wasn't a McDojo at all and the Sensei was a stern but very nice and open-minded person who didn't have a problem talking to me about other martial arts since I train in MMA. But yeah, when I actually had a conversation with the mom she would say that the only stuff that works in martial arts is what her kids were learning in that dojo and bla bla bla. She was talking about how I need to forget about MMA and only learn the stuff her kids were learning which was Karate and Judo. She doesn't even believe that martial arts get any deeper than the physical techniques they're learning. She believes that if it's something that doesn't visually create points in a tournament, it's pointless. Geezus that was annoying!! How do you feel about that?

How to do I can melt soft metals at home?

so my first idea was to make a furnace out of clay-rich dirt, with a hole for a bellow, using coal as fuel and a steel or aluminium ladle, or one big spoon, to hold the desired metal. I want to melt 'soft metals', with this I mean, low melting points metals, like lead, zinc, copper and tin. I want to make metal objects, just for fun. I know that that some metals are dangerous, like lead, but I had chemistry at school so I am aware of security measures.

Excessive sweating problem... Help please?

I have the same exact problem! I've tried a few things but nothing really works completely. I have to avoid wearing colored shirts and stick to white or black. It sucks. I also tried Certain-Dri and I also have sports deodorant which takes the smell away well but not so much the wetness. I'm just hoping I grow out of it... GOOD LUCK!

Too many vitamin supplements causing stomach ache?

i always have a sensitive stomach and i have celiacs disease (gluten intolerance) i have no eaten foods with wheat in years and none of my vitamin supplements have wheat they all say gluten free. i started taking biotin with B-complex (to grow out my hair longer) and i take them each once a day and then i also take Lysine (because i have herpes) and a zinc supplement too. the B-complex does not contain iron... why am i getting sick does this have anything to do with the vitamins is it too many? i do spread them out throughout the day

i was very depressed just lost someone dear to me and other issues as well, plus havin panic attacks and yada yada etc.-IT HAPPENS TO THE BEST OF US-.i open myself to the " the instructors'" which in return the female and male sensei eventually used it against me. it doesnt help that i slept with the male sensei as well and was really feeling him but couldnt express it cause i was off my knockers at the time-- i left, came back then left again. however with the help of the "MOST HIGH" im not depressed and havin panic attacks anymore but still have the memory"cloud" & still want to learn karate. By the way, my children practice there as well and respects them both as they should. i will never come between my children and their training. they're learning well and rapidly because they are bright and are fast learners and do have great teachers.both sensei love their kraft and know what they r doing; that i can't and will not over look. however because of MY pass mistake i feel extremely ashamed and uncomfortable when im there. i told somebody which i knew was an -informer- in and out of the dojo how i felt and said somethings that -wasnt true- just to see if people were really talking about me. it was true!they was talking!!! still talking! so now that the subliminal messages that the instructors say while practicing is towards me. they dont know that i know but i do. the male sensei is trying to show the students that knows about us & which is mostly his family including the female sensei, that he is the bigger person but still find time to put me down. i ask GOD to forgive me for my mistakes but didnt know i would have to be tormented while im suppose to train. i will make sure my children go thru with their dreams in which one is being a martial artists. it really hurts that i will have to put mine on hold. sideline- i really love females duking it out without fear. every time i fought i was always afraid and thought it was life or death. i really want to learn sportsmenship and regain the confidence & courage i once had. im in my thirtys and with that being said -either i have it now or i don't- maybe all that was proof that i don't have what it takes. regardless, my children will succeed in martial arts! i will not root them up from their dojo because of my flaws& f*#k ups . i only need sound advice from the the people that understand "first call". thanks

hey dude! i see your starting your adventure to the online pokemon world! well first of all, it's hard. because everything is different. first off, you can't use 1 hit-ko move. it's baned and second, you need lots of expierence and many hard-to-explain skills to know about. just watch some pokemon battles on youtube first, and THEN look at your team and what you are missing. but i can see that you at least know to use many diff pokes with diff move types. although i would change galvantula's tbolt for thunder wave/electra ball. and x-scizzor for bug buzz. you need bug buzz instead of x-scizzor because galvantula specializes in special atks. not physical. and haxorus should know earthquake and dragon claw and forget about guilotine. i'll ttyl hopefully.

Many people have to first lean or they might even lurch when they start to move out of it instead of keeping their backs straight and maintaining that 70/30 weight distribution until the last possible second. Start doing some lunges to strengthen your hips and legs and work on this stance and moving out of it and into another one several times back and forth after your class and pay attention to your posture. Also having your stance a half shoulder width wide will help give you better balance rather than one foot lined up directly with the other, heel-to-heel.

Every summer i make my own soap for myself for the year, this year i ordered way too much Sodium Hydroxide and German pretzels are getting old. In my garage i found a working 350 watt DC to AC power inverter so i decided to use my extra NaOH as an electrolyte in a homemade battery to use with the inverter to get a couple working outlets if the power ever goes out. I realize this battery is going to have an epic number of cells to power this thing but i'm willing to give it a shot. Long story short i am asking if anyone has experience with something like this (using NaOH as electrolyte) and if so you could save me alot of research and experimentation if you could give me some data, ie which metals to use as anode/cathode or is copper and zinc from the old grade school potato batteries still optimal, what concentration of solution is optimal, what volume of liquid/distance between electrodes, optimal surface area of said electrodes, would i be better off with a series or parallel circuit to connect the cells, things like that. For breakfast I had about 200-350 calories ( this is a guess because I had a traditional meal and I am just guessing it is about this much, this includes my glass of orange juice) and then I had an apple for snack. For lunch I had a bowl of salad ( lettuce, tomatoes, a slice of cucumber, shredding of carrot, corn and the sauce was italian so there was no mayonaise) and a carton of apple juice (it said it was natural and it had no fizz). When I got home I had a whole grain croissant with different seeds and a very small portion of Ice tea. I then had a glass of orange juice, a vitamin c and zinc thing that you suck (i was scared of getting a cold) and a banana. Now for dinner I had about 200 calories (just guessing since it was traditional food). So I only recently started reducing my intake at lunch time so if I continue eating only a salad (sometimes only lettuce) or an apple for lunch will it help? Please don't suggest any sport for now because the school year just ended so I can't. (don't say do an outside school one) I will probably be doing something like football or track next year though. Is once a week ok?

I have felt VERY nauseated for about 8 weeks, I also get hot flashes, loss of appetite, fatigued, when I can eat I get full very fast, I have thrown up 3 times since I've been feeling this way, I have swollen glands, get headaches, stomach cramps, and I feel very weak. You should absolutely still train Boxing. I believe in complimentary training. That meaning training in different styles and techniques that cover the weaknesses of others. What you've got going on is a good example of that. Your Karate gives you a foundation in kicking, and punching techniques (Im only guessing as much because I dont know exactly what style of Karate you do). Boxing gives perfection in punching techniques as well as better movement, stances and blocking. Its true its gonna mess up your karate technique, but its going to improve your fighting technique. Now you have the movement, blocking and effective stance of boxing as well as the kicking ability of Karate. Really what you've got going on is the foundation for Mixed Martial Arts. You should keep training and maybe even think about transitioning into kickboxing, as well as start working with grappling techniques. we're about to have promotions in our dojo.. there will be a lot of people and many honored guests there, and most students are very excited and really looking forward to getting promoted.. everyone EXCEPT me.. the problem is that I am not interested in ranks, for me the color of the belt is meaningless. I'd rather have my sensei tell me that I've mastered/completed at least 1 move absolutely perfectly than to get another rank.. Low appetite, can't seem to eat much more than half the calories I should be getting?

for the past two weeks, I haven't been able to get down more than 600 calories a day or so. I know anything over 700 makes me feel really sick. I've been in a lot of pain from Fibromyalgia recently, and haven't been able to exercise much, but I know this isn't enough even for sedentary people. I'm not trying to diet or lose weight, but I would hate to gain any. what can be causing this drop in appetite? what'll happen to my body and metabolism if this goes on much longer? I'm having an IBS flair now too, but usually when that happens my appetite increases, since food is going straight through me, but this time I'm so far from hungry it's weird. I haven't started any new medicine in the past month, but could it be medicine related? I take Yasmin and Wellbutrin in the Am and Zinc and Biotion for skin/hair/nails and Tylenol and Neurontin and Promethazine at night, but I have been on these for awhile. I am 24, female, 5'1", about 110lbs, if that helps.

You would have way to many things in the gas phase with this process. However if you are looking to produce hydrogen you are going to need to make the "steam" acidic with HCl. The HCl will disassociate in the "steam" and react with the solid zinc to produce hydrogen and ZnCl. If your attempting to do this in the gas phase you need to take zinc and turn it into powder, one warning though any finely divided metal can be pyrophoric in nature. Always follow good chemical hygiene.

Let's say I look at 2 judo dojos to go enroll in. The sensei for 1 of the dojos is 30 years old and a 3 degree dan. And let's say that the other dojo I visit is run by a guy who is like Masahiko Kimura, 30 years old and a very high rank 6th or 7th degree dan. How would you tell the rank differences if they didn't tell you? Since if both are legitimately trained, but one is more skilled how would you tell? Let's say both of them perform the Osotogari on me without any trouble, since both can demostrate the techniques effectively how can you tell which is more skilled? Would you have to look at the little things to see who is more skilled?

Problems with Call Of Duty?

Thank you, finally somebody else who finds so many flaws with the game. I thank you for being able to come out and say that the game is incredibly flawed. Does low level or high level of testosterone causes hair loss?

I've taken a blood test for hair not long ago. I have a low testosterone level and a bit low Zinc. I was wondering if the low testosterone could be a reason for thinning hair at the crown of my head. I got my hair cut very short and it seems to grow very well. But I've noticed some thinning at the back. I've always heard that high testosterone causes quick baldness. Sorry, but the short and true answer is that you can't really teach yourself how to fight. It is unfortunate that there are no schools nearby, but it is just the reality of the situation. Learning how to punch and kick is not fighting, it is like someone handing you the keys to a car and saying "Drive" when you have never learned how to do it or even operate a vehicle. Learning to fight/defend yourself is how to employ techniques effectively, not just the body mechanics of how to execute the techniques - mimicking body movement is just dancing, and you need context and instruction to turn those techniques into something useful. You could be the best puncher in the world, but still be a terrible fighter. You cannot learn to fight from videos or books, that is a simple fact. At best you might be able to mimic some techniques, and at worst you can delude yourself into thinking that that is sufficient to defend yourself which could lead you into a dangerous situation. The best strategy would be to think critically about how you can avoid situations which could get you into a fight, or even what you could do to get out of it.

2 yr old's life jacket strap blistered inner leg...suggestions on healing it?

My husband allowed our son to swim the other day with just the life jacket on and swim diaper, instead of his swim trunks. He said they were in the pool for about 2 hours. When he got him out he realized the life jacket strap that goes between his legs had rubbed on him and he has about a 2 inch in length blister. Its in the inner part of his legs...really really close to his private. I'm putting ointment on it and trying to keep it clean (not letting him go long between changes and quickly change after poop) What else can I do? What type of cream should I use? It hurts him only when cleaning it and putting medicine on. How long do these things take to get rid of? I am not familiar with blisters at all! Any input would be wonderful :)

I'm currently taking the following to supplement my weight lifting- Preworkout: B complex(energy) and flax seed oil(vitamin absorbtion). Summer hair loss on face?

Make sure you get a good primer to go under your foundation as this will create a barrier between your oily skin and your makeup. I also have oily skin and i have found that Almay is a good brand (its for acne prone skin so it shouldn't cause serious breakouts) however i still have to always powder my face at least twice a day because i do get shiny!
